This is the new garden we started this summer. It is looking so good. Hope to have it finished next summer. The swing is special as it was made by my daughter and it looks like we found a perfect home for it.

Awesome Friday

Today was a great day. Stayed home from work to do some pottery. At one point I really wanted to gamble, but stayed strong and threw pots instead. Yay me!!! I am getting itchy to do a firing and really want to start experimenting with different glazes. The garden is looking great. The delphiniums are starting to get flower buds and we have flowers on the vegetables. We have about eight green tomatoes and the cherry tomatoes started from seed are getting blooms. The yard looks great, although is seems like it go a slow start this year. Good thing I am blogging I will be able to compare progress next year.

In Progress!

So much better than my rant this morning! Excited about the garden progress. This is the first year we have started vegetables from seed and composted. We have learned so much!! I have posted pics that were taken a couple of days ago...if anyone has questions about gardening in the Rocky Mountains let me know. I have made every mistake possible!!
This is one of the gardens about a week ago...it is looking so good!
